Day 1
Arrival at Kathmandu 1350m/4428ft.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International airport, you will be welcomed by the Rock Everest team and transferred to your hotel, overnight at hotel.

Day 2
Fly Kathmandu/Lukla (2610m) and 3hrs trek to Phakding (2810m).

We have a scenic flight to Lukla for about 35minute. We are now in the land of Sherpa; we meet and introduce our crew who will carry your luggage’s entire trek. The trail goes continue along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through the Sherpa villages of Chhupulung, Ghat and then reaches Phakding. The trail offers some majestic and alluring views mountains and beautiful landscapes where you will see Tibetan words carved in rocks and multi-color Buddhist flags are hanging around the mani walls it makes the trek more exciting, Overnight at lodge.

Note: Lukla Flights are being rerouted from Manthali instead of Kathmandu due to ongoing upgrades at Kathmandu Airport. It’s about a 4-5 hour drive from Kathmandu to Manthali, Ramechhap (the microbus will be stared every morning around 2 am from Thamel- in front of Sanchay coss Nearby Himalayan Bank)

Day 3
Trek to Namche 3,450m/11,315ft- 6hrs.

Today we head off from Phakding than after the scenic trail will continue along Dudhkoshi River, we are ascending through rhododendron, giant fir, Himalayan pine and cedar forest viewing first beautiful mountain of Kusum kangaroo and Thamserku. The trail is blooming. We cross the high suspension bridges and then we are while climbing through the dense forest than pass the viewpoint where we can see first Mt. Everest view. As you arrive Namche Bazaar a town with set in an arena with seeing beautiful mountains surrounding the town. In the afternoon go to the market area will be the lively scene to explore, Overnight at lodge.

Day 4
Rest and acclimatization.

Today we will ascend into the thin air towards twin villages Khumjung and Khunde, this day will be the most charming Sherpa villages in the Khumbu region. Once you reach Everest View Lodge this Lodge built by Japanese people, you will be able to see the majestic landscape and it will be more appreciate the spectacular view of the Himalayas including two mountains above eight thousand meters high Mt.Evereat, Lots and othersTaubuche, Cholatse, Thamserku, Kwangde, Khandala and the gorgeous Ama Dablam. Then we will continue to descend to Khumjung and we get a good chance to visit the Hillary School in Khumjung, and 500 years old a monastery where “Yeti skull” has put since 1995. While we are descending to Namche after visiting these places here, we see the big yak farm on the way down to Namche, In Namche, we will visit the Sherpa Museum and traditional custom of Sherpa as well as a mountain photo gallery, Overnight at lodge.

Day 5
Trek to Tengboche 3,860m/12,677ft- 4/5hrs.

We continue trekking up hills the trail leads towards through Namche with a view of the landscape and snow-capped mountains. Then we drop down to cross the Dudkoshi river than we will ascent again right cross the river through suspension bridge steep ascending start to walk through into the rhododendron forest to Tengboche Monastery at the end top. This is one of the spiritual vital carrying Buddhist monasteries in the Khumbu region and an evening or in the morning watch fantastic sunset or sunrise over a panoramic mountain, overnight at lodge.

Day 6
Trek to Dingboche 4,410m/14,485ft- 4/5hrs.

Today morning we pray in Monastery before we have breakfast after back we will have a beautiful breakfast with seeing the sunrise on Mt. Everest and surrounding peaks. Then we head off descending through jungle some time spotting the musk deer, mountain gout and monkeys on the way, then cross the Imja Khola whose valley now we follow ascending steadily to reach Pangboche. Then the trail goes through a Yak pasture known as Somare then now we are leaving trees behind us and cross a wooden bridge at the confluence of Khumbu Khola and Imja Khola. The trail continues a short climb up brings us to Dingboche. Perhaps today most is an interesting trek day because of incredible Ama Dablam and Mt. Everest. Overnight at lodge.

Day 7
Acclimatisation.

Today our trek will be great and pleasant short walk to little hike and around the village then spend easy and relax day or we may trek continue climbing steep up resulting in a physically challenging to reach in 200 meters hike to get the great views of Mt. Makalu (world 5th highest mountain), Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, Imja peak, Lobuche East, Lobuche West, Taboche, Baruntse, Cholatse with great views of Khumbu valley. After enjoying great views of majestic Himalayas and descending to Dingboche, Overnight at lodge.

Day 8
Trek to Lobuche 4,910m/16,105ft- 4hrs.

The trail climbs slightly up out of Dingboche village; pass a chorten at the top then gradual up path passing the yak pasture to cross the Khumbu Khola then reach at Thugla at the end of the terminal moraine of Khumbu glacier. Now the trail leads the steep climb up to the ridge at top Chukpo Lari where we have heart poignant line of memorials in tribute to the climbers who have died on Mt. Everest expeditions since starting. The short gradual-up walk brings us at Lobuche and we have a glimpse of the border Himalayas, Overnight at lodge.

Day 9
Trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorkshep 5,185m/17010ft- 4hrs.

Today is the most exciting and long-awaited day. Leaving from Lubuche the trail leads flat meadow for while then following the Khumbu Glacier northwards and short climbing up. Then the trail climbs onto the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to Gorak Shep. The path provides a superb view of massive Khumbu Glacier and trans-Himalayas. Upon our arrival at Gorak Shep check in the room then after lunch we walk to Everest Base Camp. The trail continues on the moraine of Khumbu glacier and path often changes on the season because of the melting of the glacier. Once we reach Base Camp, we take photographs then retracing to Gorakshep. Overnight at lodge.

Day 10
Hike to Kalapather 5,545m/18,187ft – Dzongla 48300m/15,840ft- 5hrs.

Wake up early morning today then 2hrs climbing-up brings us at Kalapathar on the bottom of Mt. Pumori. From Kalapathar we see a sunrise on the majestic Himalayas in 360º degree including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lola, Khumbutse, Ama Table, Tabuchi, Cholatse, Thamserku and numerous other peaks with the excellent views of Everest Base camp and Khumbu glacier. Then have a breakfast after that continue to walk through the moraine of Khumbu glacier and passing Lobuche, we descend back down beautiful valley to Pheritse. Overnight at lodge.

Day 11
Cross Chola Pass (5368m) and trek to Thangnak (4495m/15400ft) – 6/7hrs walk.

Today you will get experience crossing high pass in the Everest region. To avoid the strong wind and melting ice by sunlight, you will be starting your trek early morning before sunrise. Your guide will brief you and take all the safety equipment for the successful passing of Chola pass. Stop for a view and photo snap at top of the pass offering an excellent view of the Himalayan ranges. 3 hours further walk will bring you to Thangnak (4678m) where you will stop for lunch. After lunch continues your walk to Gokyo. We will follow the edge route of the Ngozumpa glacier which is the longest glacier in Nepal. Reaching the other side of the glacier, we get the view of the second of the Gokyo lakes on the series of six lakes. Check-in at lodge available locally. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the Gokyo lake view.

Day 12
Trek to Gokyo (4,750m/15,584ft) 4 hrs walk

Today is your short day walk to Gokyo Lake. It’s about 3/ 4 hours walk from Thangnak but its a really beautiful walk through the Ngajumpa glacier. After crossing an iron bridge over a stream the trail levels out as it follows the valley past the first lake, known as Longpongo at 4690m, where we get a chance to observe the Lama footprints on a stone. The second lake, Taboche Tsho mesmerizes us by the shimmering turquoise blue sheet of water sparkling in the sun. Little we reach the third lake, called Dudh Pokhari, linked by a surging stream to the previous one. Gokyo village stands by the third lake and Cho-Oyu Mountain. Above the lake provides panoramic views of Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Lhotse, Makalu, cholatse, and Tawache.

Day 13
Trek to Dole (4,045m/13,270ft) – 6 hrs walk

Early morning, you are strongly recommended to take an excursion with your guide to Gokyo Ri for the best sunrise view of Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makalu. The viewpoint at Gokyo Ri is also known as Scoundrel’s Viewpoint. This is perhaps the best viewpoint on Earth to see the panoramic view of the Everest range and all major peaks located in the Everest region. Return back to your lodge for breakfast. You will walk down following the Ngozumpa Glacier from where Dudh Koshi River emerges. Pass second and first series of Gokyo lakes to reach a small stream by crossing Iron Bridge. On the right side, you will see the spectacular view of Cholaste and Taboche peaks towering on the skyline. Stop at Chodoten to see the view of Thamserku, Cho-one, and Kangtega mountain peaks. Follow the downhill trekking trail to reach Machhermo. Continue your walk to Dole and check-in at the lodge.

Day 14
Trek down to Namche – 4/5 hrs walk

Follow the downhill trail to reach Namche Bazaar. Rest of the day is free to relax your muscle or you can utilize this time to stroll around the market area for last minute shopping

Day 15
Trek to Lukla (2,850m/9,350ft) – 6 hrs walk.

We go through Namche village then descend in a forest to Jors sale. The trek continues goes along the Dudh Koshi River, passing the small village on the way then to the small mountain airstrip at Lukla, Overnight at lodge.

Day 16
Fly Lukla/Kathmandu 35 minutes.

Today we have the scenic flight back to Kathmandu, Upon arrival at Kathmandu. And drive to the hotel. Then take a rest or shopping for family and friends. We have a farewell dinner at Thamel, overnight at hotel.
